"Blue Moon Rising"

Artist Statement:
The concept of a blue moon is that of something rare or unusual; something that happens very infrequently. So, how about if there are a couple of dozen blue moons in one place at one time. I have always thought the moon is most interesting when rising. And so, the idea of a blue moon and a multiple exposure image of the moon rising, is how this piece began. With these two ideas in mind, I attempted to create an object that is both physically and symbolically interesting and unusual. I hope the viewer finds this object to be complex, unique, maybe intriguing, and most of all fun.
