Artist Statement:
Deep, full sounds with random tones and reverberation!
'Resonance' is a series of tuned chimes and an upcycled bell mounted on a steel frame supported by a cedar post and anchored with a concrete column. It's designed so pedestrians can walk closely underneath and experience the deep, rich sound of tuned bell chimes. This sculpture combines several materials creating a design style that I refer to as 'western prairie'.
