Artist Statement:
“Women's Song” was created as a tribute to women. The strong carbon steel core represents their unmovable strength. The Carbon Steel is untreated to show their natural beauty. The sculptures is embellished by studs to represent all the hardships women face in life and rods for the spirit of women that rises above their troubles. It is enhanced by a one-of-a-kind hand blown glass disk that represents the unique quality of every woman.
"LD's Song” is a tribute to the mother of Rollin's son. Like its sister sculpture Women's Song, LD's Song represents a women's ability to endure and thrive despite adversity and hardships. Their ability to bring beauty no matter the situation.
