I tend to use neutrals and earth tone colors in my work as I am inspired by nature and reference my direct surroundings and experiences. I am intrigued by how three-dimensional work draws in the viewer by having a tactile quality and the ability to view a piece from different angles.
I aim to connect this artistic representation to the fast-paced word in which we live. I was inspired by downtown districts and expanding communities. The taller forms resemble a cityscape, while the abstract forms on the bottom part of the piece represent the natural environment. Resonance depicts architectural lines emerging out of organic forms and is based on the relationship between nature and modernization. The dynamic design reflects the thriving communities around us.
